ForgeNest Software

Software that drives the forge.

The ForgeNest Forging Application brings Agility Forge machine operation, forging execution, and process data into one interface. Our growing suite of toolpath tools gives engineers and operators more ways to turn part requirements into a forging plan.

01 / The Core Application

One application. Every Agility Forge.

Core software

ForgeNest Forging Application

Agility Forge is ForgeNest's machine platform, spanning the Agility Forge C1000, Agility Forge C2000, and Agility Forge R3000 lines. The ForgeNest Forging Application provides the common software foundation, bringing the operator interface, machine coordination, forging recipes, and process records into a consistent workflow across the platform.

  • Operate with clarity

Bring machine status and operator controls into one interface. Operators see the state of the cell at a glance and act from a single, consistent screen.

  • Execute the forging plan

Coordinate the machine to run the prepared forging sequence. Each step follows the approved recipe, so every run is carried out the same way.

  • Capture the process

Record production and sensor data for review and traceability. Every run leaves a record your team can use to verify parts and refine the process.

  • Offline by design

Runs on the cell’s secured industrial computers over a local network. No internet connection is required; no operational data leaves the site unless you export it.

02 / Toolpath Generation

More ways to plan the forge.

From repeatable part families to expert programming and new algorithmic approaches, we're expanding how forging paths are created for the Agility Forge platform.

  • Agility Forge Macro Module

    In development

    Repeatable parts. Simpler preparation.

Turn a validated part family into a forging recipe without programming each toolpath by hand. Select the family, enter dimensions, material, and starting stock within its validated ranges, and generate a recipe for execution in the Forging Application.

Planned libraries will group part families by application, with custom macro development for specific needs.

  • Manual Toolpath Generator

    Customer release in development

Put the path in the engineer's hands.

An engineering tool for creating and refining forging paths from CAD geometry. It gives experienced users direct control over path planning for process development and the preparation of reusable part-family workflows.

  • Toolpath Generation Model Zoo

    In development

Different forging challenges. More planning approaches.

A growing collection of toolpath generation algorithms for different part geometries and forging challenges. We're developing multiple planning approaches to expand how forging paths can be generated across the Agility Forge platform.

A model zoo is a library of specialized algorithms, rather than a single planner for every job.

03 / Connected Workflow

Macro Module example

The Macro Module turns a validated part family into production without toolpath programming. The operator works from the part, not from the machine: four steps take a part from family selection to a forged result.

  1. Step 1Choose the family

Select a validated part family from the libraries licensed on the cell, such as round, change-at-end.

  2. Step 2Enter the part

Enter the part's dimensions within the family's validated envelope, along with the material and starting stock.

  3. Step 3Generate the recipe

The module applies the family's macro and parametric toolpath algorithms to produce the forging recipe.

  4. Step 4Forge

The Forging Application executes the recipe and logs the process data for review.

Validated part families

Each macro is a parameterized program for one part family. Its validated envelope defines the dimensional ranges, alloys, stock forms, and tooling for which ForgeNest has proven the forging sequence on your cell, and the module does not plan outside it.

Representative families
  • Round, uniform cross-section
  • Round, change-at-end
  • Round, change-at-center
  • Bar / block
  • Spatial curvature

Licensing

Licensed per Agility Forge cell, as a perpetual license or annual subscription. Each licensed part family makes unlimited parts within its validated envelope on that cell, with no per-part fee. Part data, recipes, and logs you create remain yours.

By use case and by program

Library macros, macro libraries, and custom validated macros

ForgeNest will keep extending the Macro Module and its libraries after the first release, at its own expense. Libraries are organized by use case and by program, so a cell delivered for a given use case can license the libraries for it, with new macros added over time.

First releaseApril–June 2027

Orders accepted now for delivery with the first release. The Library Catalog, issued with that release, lists the available part families and alloys and assigns each family to the Standard or Complex tier.

  • Library macro license1 part family · 1 alloy

One validated family from the Library Catalog, Standard or Complex, with additional alloys available. Validated on your cell before production use.

  • Macro Library Pack — StandardUp to 5 families · 1 alloy each

One use case. A Complex family counts as two. Licensed per pack, per cell.

  • Macro Library Pack — ExtendedUp to 10 families · up to 2 alloys each

One use case. A Complex family counts as two. Licensed per pack, per cell.

  • Program Macro LibraryQuoted per program

Program-specific part families and alloys, quoted per program and per cell.

  • Custom validated macro1 part family · 1 alloy

Developed and validated by ForgeNest for your geometry and delivered as a software update. Variants and process development services are available, with reduced pricing on your other cells. Your drawings and part data stay confidential.

All licenses are per Agility Forge cell, with unlimited parts within each family’s validated envelope and no per-part fee.
